The constraint
Two AA batteries are the power source. Rather than measuring constantly, the logger is planned around one reading per hour, with the readings stored locally in flash.
Ultra-low-power environmental logger
Temperature, humidity, pressure and light, recorded once an hour and stored in flash. Running on two AA batteries means battery life informs every part of the design.
My contribution
I selected the components, drew the schematic in KiCad and planned the current budget. The work connects the sensor requirements with the available power.
Design notes
The design centres on an hourly measurement cycle and local flash storage. Component selection, the schematic and the current budget are the focus of this stage.
